I'm reply to your
Letter dated the
10th Instant I have it in command
to acquaint You, for the information of Lord Grey, that the Lords Comm of Her Majesty's Treasury have given the Sanction which his Lordship proposes to convey to the Governor of
Hong Kong for incurring the extraordinary Expenditure of
Five Hundred and eight Pounds ten Shillings and six Pence for the Construction of a Boat House for the Police Department; provided the Amount of that Estimate shall not be found to be materially enhanced by any Modifications or Objections
